I got this keyboard specifically because it has the built-in calculator, to use for work. I love the sound that comes from it stock. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I only realized after I’d put all the keycaps on it except the space bar (I bought legend of zelda key caps from another site to replace the stock ones) that you have to kind of take the keyboard apart to switch it from the double space bar to the single space bar. At that point, I wasn’t going to redo it all, but it’s all good because I am planning on reprogramming the left one to be a delete key or something else since I really only use the right one. There are a couple of things I wish it did. First, I wish there was a delete key for the calculator rather than having to zero it out. Second, I wish it said what the total was when using the calculator, not just all the numbers and symbols up until the result. Third, I wish there was some way to keep the final calculation result on screen while also being able to use the numpad to enter data in the computer. Once you switch it from calculator mode to numpad mode you lose the number you just figured with the calculator and that makes the calculator not as efficient for work use as I thought it would be, so I find myself not using it nearly as often as I thought I would and that’s the main reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I prefer that it doesn’t have the battery in it and that its wired so I don’t have to worry about the battery going bad later down the road (not sure if that’s a thing or not, just seems like it would be). The last thing is, the software that comes with it displays incredibly small on my computer screen. There’s an option to resize in the settings, but it’s greyed out.
