I have an Anne Pro 2 at work and I love the tap keys functionality for direction. I wanted a QMK supported keyboard in the same form factor for home and came across this. I got it with the Ruellia switches. It is fantastic to type on. There isn’t much of a bump on the switch but it is a great thocky keyboard.
So far the keyboard Pull Request has not been merged into QMK which means you need to manually load the .json file in VIA. It is available here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/JZ-Skyloong/VIA_keyboards/refs/heads/gk61_pro_ds/v3/skyloong/gk61/pro_ds/gk61pro_ds.json
I have a GK61Pro, so I bought this GK61Pro DS without the knob.
There is no official announcement of the QMK firmware. I found pro_ds in the admin repository and copied it to the directory where pro_48 is. The firmware I built with the Japanese layer is working very well.
I chose the silent CuCl2 switches, and the keystrokes are really quiet and pleasant.
My only disappointment is that the space bar is 3.125u+3.125u. This size is special and only available at SKYLOON, but the colors and designs are all strange and not to my liking. I wish they would sell it to match the key cap sets at SKYLOON.
It was an almost ideal keyboard, compact (60%), with hot-swap and tap-hold functions, and also compatible with QMK/VIA. My two complaints are that the music is a bit loud and the manual lists the wrong JSON file name (GK61 Pro_48.json) and link. I found this site and was finally able to download the correct JSON file (gk61qmk&via_ds.json).
